01 / Brand and launch film
Somvee
Naming, brand identity, a launch trailer, four alternate trailers and two 4:5 editions for Somvee, a concept AI agent that does the work overnight. AI imagery, with art direction, motion design and edit by Dept5.

Four alternate trailers
Four more launch films for the same brand, each built on a different idea.
Waits, so you don’t.
One woman on hold at 58:41 opens the film, and the camera pulls back to everyone else who is waiting. That night Somvee holds the same line while she sleeps. In the morning she closes the laptop and laughs as her kids ride by.
Night Shift
One unbroken pull back, from the phone on her nightstand to the sunrise over the Earth. While a candle maker sleeps, Somvee takes 87 orders, clears her afternoon for her daughter’s recital, reorders wax and opens her shop to 40 countries. At seven the sun rises into the mark.
The empty prompt
Every assistant waits for you to type. Here nobody types: all night the prompt bar keeps count while finished work fills the thread above it, until it reads 19 handled, 0 asked. She wakes, picks up her phone and smiles. Then the cursor becomes the sun.
Without asking
A wall of 51 typed requests shows the work an assistant leaves you. Then night rises over the page, and Somvee’s cards turn over one at a time, from what it noticed to what it did, until 51 things are done by morning.
Two 4:5 editions
The launch trailer and Alt A, rebuilt for the phone feed with the same timing, voice and music.
Go to sleep. Wake up to done.
Every frame laid out again for a phone held in one hand: lines set under the pictures, the chat stacked down the middle, the morning brief turned into a phone page, and type sized to read at arm’s length.
Waits, so you don’t.
The night shift stacks down the frame: the clock at the top, Sam asleep in the middle, the work Somvee does for her rising from below. The morning keeps her laugh and the kids on their bikes.
